Two men died after their motorcycles collided along the Kidapawan-Sumbac Road in Barangay Sumbac, Kidapawan City on Tuesday night.
Police identified the fatalities as Ismaelito Dahan and Joey Frotas. Both men were driving separate motorcycles when the crash happened past 9 p.m. on November 19.
According to the Kidapawan City Police Traffic Section, both riders were traveling along the same road when they collided. The impact threw them onto the concrete pavement, causing severe injuries that led to their deaths.
Responders arrived at the scene but both men were declared dead due to the injuries they sustained from the fall.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the impact and are checking whether speed or poor visibility may have played a role. No other vehicles or individuals were involved.
The bodies of Dahan and Frotas were turned over to their respective families. Police have not announced any further updates.
