Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) Chairperson Andres Reyes said they have yet to find any connection between Sen. Joel Villanueva and contractor Eumir Villanueva.
Eumir was among those recommended for investigation over possible irregularities in the P72-million flood control project in Plaridel, Bulacan.
He is also the owner of Topnotch Catalyst Builders, Inc.
According to Reyes, the commission is still validating information related to the case.
He added that the ICI is hopeful more whistleblowers will come forward to provide accurate details.
