Authorities dismantled a suspected drug den and arrested three individuals in a buy-bust operation conducted late Friday night in Pampanga, Davao City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 11 (PDEA RO 11), in coordination with Philippine National Police carried out the operation at Kamias Street, Phase 7, Dona Asuncion Village, at around 11:17 p.m. on June 20, 2025.
The main target, identified as alias Joey, 48, was allegedly the maintainer of the drug den. Authorities said he was arrested after selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, worth ₱8,000 to an undercover agent.
Two other suspects were also apprehended. They were identified as alias Josephine, a reported employee of the drug den, and alias Aeron, a visitor at the time of the operation.
During the operation, authorities recovered four sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 11 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱74,800. Also seized were various drug paraphernalia and the marked buy-bust money.
The three suspects are now facing charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
