A couple was found dead inside a white car in Barangay Panilongan, Buruanga, Aklan, with gunshot wounds to their chests.
The victims, a 38-year-old MLGOO officer of DILG-Buruanga and an ADMIN Aid of LGU-Buruanga, were discovered by authorities on Monday.
The Buruanga Municipal Police Station (MPS) is puzzled by the lack of damage to the vehicle, suggesting that the shots were fired from inside the car. Investigators believe a .38 caliber gun was used in the crime.
The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) and Buruanga MPS are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the killings.
