A construction firm owner was gunned down by motorcycle-riding assailants in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon in Barangay RH3, Cotabato City.
The victim, identified as Engr. Israel Abas Angas, was driving a white SUV when the suspects opened fire at the corner of Shariff Street. Witnesses and CCTV footage showed the gunmen fleeing the scene immediately after the attack.
Angas was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by doctors.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind the killing and identify the suspects. They are also reviewing CCTV footage for possible leads.
