College student caught with over ₱1M worth of shabu

A 21-year-old college student is now behind bars after being caught with over ₱1.4 million worth of suspected shabu during a police buy-bust operation in Carmen, Cebu.

Authorities identified the suspect as Lance, a first-year IT student and resident of Danao City. The operation, led by the Carmen Police Station, was conducted around 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, in Purok 1, Barangay Triumfo.

Police seized 213 grams of suspected shabu from the suspect, with a standard drug price estimated at ₱1.4 million.

The suspect is currently detained, and authorities are preparing formal charges against him.
