Chinese National caught using fake driver’s license in Pasay

A Chinese national was arrested in Pasay City for using a fake driver’s license to rent vehicles. The Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) apprehended the suspect, identified as alias “Zhou Yahao,” 34, in an entrapment operation on March 6, 2025, around 6:30 PM in front of a restaurant along Service Road.

The operation stemmed from intelligence reports that a group of Chinese nationals had been using fraudulent documents for business transactions, particularly in car rentals. On March 2, suspect Zhou Yahao attempted to rent a car from a business owner, who became suspicious and sought police assistance.
