A man was robbed in Barangay Basak Pardo, Cebu City, early Friday morning, March 21, as captured by CCTV footage.
The video, shared by Barangay Captain Dave Tumulak, shows the victim walking alone, carrying a bag. Suddenly, two motorcycles with two riders each stopped nearby.
One of the back riders quickly got off and chased the man. Upon catching up, the suspect forcibly took the victim’s bag, which contained a wallet and cellphone.
After committing the crime, the suspect calmly walked back to his waiting accomplices before they all fled the scene.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid walking alone late at night and to remain vigilant. Tumulak also appealed for anyone with information about the suspects to report to the police immediately.
