Call center agent found dead in General Santos City

A call center agent was found dead in a remote area of Upper London A, Barangay Bawing, General Santos City, around 5:30 a.m. on July 31, 2026.

The victim’s mother, Bernadeth Gabaleo, identified the deceased as Jobert Gabaleo after authorities informed the family about the discovery of his body.

According to Bernadeth, Jobert had left his boarding house in Barangay Tambler but never returned home, prompting concern among his relatives.

Police immediately responded to the scene and conducted an initial investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death and recovery.

Investigators reported that they found no indications of foul play during their initial examination, based on the evidence gathered at the scene.

Authorities also recovered a handwritten note believed to have been written by the victim and intended for his loved ones before the incident.

Police have not disclosed the contents of the note, and investigators continue documenting the case following established procedures and protocols.
