Two men gunned down at Davao del Norter gas station

Two men were shot dead while refueling at a gasoline station in Barangay Nanyo, Panabo City, Davao del Norte, on Friday afternoon, Oct. 9.

The shooting occurred along Tadeco Road shortly after 1 p.m. The two victims reportedly died at the scene after gunmen opened fire on the vehicle they were riding.

Initial reports identified one of the victims as a company official associated with First Panabo Packaging Corporation. His companion was reportedly serving as his driver. Authorities have yet to release the driver’s identity.

The circumstances surrounding the deadly attack remain unclear. Police have not identified the suspects or established the motive behind the shooting.

Investigators have also yet to determine whether the victims were deliberately targeted or whether the attack was connected to a specific dispute.

Personnel of the Panabo City Police Station processed the crime scene to collect evidence and examine closed-circuit television footage that could help identify and locate the suspects.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine who was responsible for the fatal shooting.

Police have not yet disclosed further details about the suspects or the possible motive as the investigation continues.
