Actress and singer Maris Racal has received her first-ever Best Actress award from the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers for her performance in the 2024 film Sunshine.
Maris proudly shared the achievement on Instagram, describing it as her first win in the Best Actress category.
She expressed her gratitude to the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers for the recognition, as well as to everyone who supported the film.
The actress also thanked those who appreciated her performance in the movie, which was directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
Following the announcement, Racal received messages of congratulations and praise from fellow celebrities, including Charo Santos and Kyle Echarri, among others.
The award marks a significant milestone in Racal’s acting career and adds to the growing recognition for her performance in Sunshine.
