The so-called “Blood Moon,” or total lunar eclipse, is expected to be visible in the skies over Manila and other parts of the Philippines on March 3, 2026.
According to the DOST–Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the total lunar eclipse will begin at around 7:04 p.m., with the maximum eclipse expected at approximately 7:34 p.m.
The total lunar eclipse will last for nearly an hour before gradually coming to an end.
Aside from the Philippines, the phenomenon will also be visible in parts of Eastern Asia, Australia, the Central Pacific, and much of the Americas.
