Napolcom moves to tighten crackdown on illegal sale of police uniforms

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) has ordered the Philippine National Police (PNP) to intensify its campaign against the unauthorized sale of police uniforms.

The directive comes after a photo of a partygoer wearing a full police uniform as a Halloween costume went viral.

According to the individual involved, Daryll Isidro, he purchased the uniform from a tailor in Quiapo, Manila.

During a press conference where Isidro personally apologized to the commission, Napolcom Executive Officer Rafael Calinisan emphasized the need for a strict crackdown on public access to police uniforms and paraphernalia.
