Bones, skull of missing teen unearthed in Kabankalan

A woodcutter found the bones and skull of a missing teenager in Purok 1, Brgy. Camansi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, around 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 31.

Joey Pancho confirmed the remains belonged to his 19-year-old son, Judgie, after recognizing the young man’s clothing and distinctive sandals. The skeletal remains were discovered scattered across the area, showing signs of partial decomposition.

Joey recalled noticing strange behavior in his son before his disappearance, including Jodgie talking to himself. He believes this may have been a sign of emotional distress.

Jodgie hadn’t returned home since May 5, and his family suspects depression played a role in his disappearance.
