Dinepensahan ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) ang deployment ng 433 security personnel kay Vice President Sara Duterte noong nakaraang taon.
Ayon sa OVP, walang nakitang “adverse finding” ang Commission on Audit (COA) sa audit report nito noong 2022 para sa tanggapan ng bise presidente.
Dagdag pa nito, ang deployment ng mga tauhan ng Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group (VPSPG) ay nakadepende sa assessment ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP).
Inilabas ang pahayag mula sa OVP matapos ilabas ng COA ang audit report na 455% na pagtaas sa termino ni VP Duterte, mula sa termino ni dating Bise Presidente Leni Robredo.
