3 arrested, drug den dismantled in PDEA-PNP raid

A joint operation between the PDEA Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET-11) and the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) led to the dismantling of a drug den and the arrest of three high-value targets in Monte Maria Village, Catalunan Grande, Davao City on February 3, 2025.

The raid, which took place at approximately 10:05 PM, resulted in the capture of the primary suspect, alias Bryan, 32, who was found selling shabu worth ₱1,000.

Also arrested were alias Alain, an employee of the drug den, and alias Gevie, a visitor caught engaging in a shabu session. Authorities confiscated 15 heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱385,000. Additional items seized included drug paraphernalia, buy-bust money, and a .45 caliber pistol with live ammunition.

The suspects now face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165). The operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat illegal drugs in the region.
