18-year-old woman nabbed with ₱20M worth of shabu in Mandaue

Authorities seized over ₱20 million worth of suspected shabu from an 18-year-old woman during a buy-bust operation early Friday, July 11, in Sitio Maharlika, Barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City, Cebu

Operatives from the Mandaue City Police Office, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 7 (PDEA-7), arrested the suspect, identified only by the alias “Marie,” a resident of Barangay Sawang Calero, Cebu City.

Confiscated from her possession were an estimated three kilos of suspected shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of ₱20,400,000.

The operation took place in the early hours of the morning, targeting what authorities described as a high-value individual involved in illegal drug trade in the region.

The suspect is now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

No further details have been released regarding possible accomplices or the origin of the seized narcotics.
