Makati City police arrested three suspects and confiscated ₱360,400 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pio del Pilar early Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
The operation, led by the Southern Police District (SPD) District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) and Sub-Station 3 of the Makati City Police Station, was carried out around 5:20 AM.
Authorities identified the suspects as alias “Richard,” 23, a construction worker from Pasay City; alias “B-Jay,” 30, a loan approver from Parañaque City; and alias “Ced,” 29, unemployed, also from Parañaque City. Police recovered 53 grams of suspected shabu, buy-bust money, and a keypad phone from alias Ced.
The suspects are undergoing inquest proceedings, with charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) being prepared.
