Tricycle driver Jonathan Delos Reyes returned a bag containing ₱800,000 that a passenger had left behind in his vehicle, earning recognition from the City Council for his honesty.

Delos Reyes found the bag inside his tricycle and brought it to Brigada News FM Zamboanga for safekeeping and return to its rightful owner.

Through the radio station’s public service, the owner was eventually able to retrieve the bag and personally thank Delos Reyes for his honesty and integrity.

The City Council, headed by Councilor Dan Vicente, later recognized Delos Reyes for his commendable act.

The account did not identify the owner or provide further details about the passenger or when the bag was left behind. It also did not specify when the driver found the bag or when the City Council recognition took place.

Delos Reyes turned the bag over to the radio station rather than keeping it. The station helped facilitate its return, allowing the owner to recover the money.
