The Mandaluyong City Fencing Club will hold the “Tuloy ang PagSulong: Developmental Fencers Tournament” on Sunday, October 25, at SM Center Shaw in Mandaluyong City.
According to Ariel Montinola, head coach and founder of the club, the tournament will proceed despite changes to the original organizing arrangements.
Registration remains open until Friday, October 23, for the Under 10 Mixed Épée event.
All other events have reached their minimum participant requirements.
The tournament will be conducted in a single day.
The club also announced that participants will receive event T-shirts and commemorative keychains.
Meanwhile, Mandaluyong Fencing is moving forward with a dealership agreement with OCTAV, a United Kingdom-based fencing shoe brand.
The club is also the exclusive Philippine dealer of PBT Fencing, a Hungarian fencing equipment brand.
