Storm surge hits San Jose, Camarines Sur, causing flooding along Tagas boulevard

A storm surge caused severe flooding along Tagas Boulevard in Brgy. Tagas, San Jose, this morning, November 16, due to the ongoing effects of Typhoon #PepitoPH.

Strong winds and rising sea levels triggered the surge, submerging roads and affecting local residents.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) had previously issued a Storm Surge Warning for the area, urging residents to stay alert and avoid coastal zones as the weather disturbance continues to intensify.
