A storm surge caused severe flooding along Tagas Boulevard in Brgy. Tagas, San Jose, this morning, November 16, due to the ongoing effects of Typhoon #PepitoPH.
Strong winds and rising sea levels triggered the surge, submerging roads and affecting local residents.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) had previously issued a Storm Surge Warning for the area, urging residents to stay alert and avoid coastal zones as the weather disturbance continues to intensify.
Local authorities are monitoring the situation closely and have advised the public to take necessary precautions.
