Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed that Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa was monitored in six different locations over the past three weeks.
This comes as the senator has been absent from the Senate following reports that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against him in connection with the Duterte administration’s drug war.
According to Remulla, authorities know where Dela Rosa is.
He has reportedly been staying in the homes of his friends and is in hiding.
Remulla added that Dela Rosa has been using different vehicles while “moving around.”
However, the secretary refused to reveal the specific places where the senator had been sighted.
In the end, Remulla clarified that Dela Rosa is not currently being considered a fugitive.
He is not deemed a “wanted man.”
