School utility worker stabbed to death by husband in Sarangani

A 40-year-old school utility worker, Mary Grace Guinang, was stabbed to death by her husband, Willy Guinang, inside the school compound.

Witnesses said Willy suddenly arrived at the school and attacked his wife violently, allegedly motivated by jealousy, leaving her fatally injured on site.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but Mary Grace succumbed to her injuries before authorities could transport her to a nearby hospital.

Local police immediately took the suspect into custody and began gathering witness statements, evidence, and accounts from neighbors and school personnel.

Her children, including second son Jophet, recalled witnessing their father’s violent attack and expressed disbelief at the horrific actions toward their mother.

Jophet said their father’s jealousy left no mercy, and they feared their mother would not survive before the stabbing occurred.
