Singer Ogie Alcasid confirmed the presence of Sarah Geronimo and her husband, Matteo Guidicelli, at the third and final night of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez’s Finale concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on Monday, October 19.
During the performance, Ogie playfully mentioned Sarah’s name while acknowledging the celebrities in attendance.
The audience erupted in cheers upon hearing the name of the Popstar Royalty, initially thinking Ogie was only joking.
However, Sarah and Matteo were indeed at the venue, watching the concert from one of the private suites on Level 3.
A video captured by concertgoer Jose Carlo Ventosa also circulated on social media, showing the couple applauding as Ogie paid tribute to his wife, Regine.
Meanwhile, Sarah’s appearance drew attention amid ongoing speculation about her alleged pregnancy with the couple’s first child.
However, neither Sarah nor Matteo has publicly confirmed the rumors.
Sarah previously rose to fame after winning the grand championship of Star for a Night, a talent search hosted by Regine from 2002 to 2003, which marked a significant milestone in the singer’s music career.
