A pickup truck overturned after hitting a tree on the center island of Cebu South Coastal Road in Lawaan Uno, Talisay City around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the City of Talisay Traffic Operations & Development Authority, the driver accidentally jerked the steering wheel after placing his tumbler on the door’s side.
“It all happened so fast,” the driver reportedly exclaimed. Fortunately, the airbag deployed, leaving the driver unharmed.
Authorities are reminding motorists to exercise extra caution while driving.
