PBBM invites APEC leaders to visit the PH for ASEAN Summit in 2026

President Bongbong Marcos assured fellow Asia-Pacific leaders that the Philippines remains open and ready to do business with other nations.

Speaking at the APEC CEO Summit 2025, the President highlighted the government’s ongoing digital transformation efforts, including major investments in digital infrastructure.

He noted that the country is strengthening its use of artificial intelligence through the National AI Strategy Roadmap, along with the Digitalization of MSMEs Program that aims to empower entrepreneurs and ensure that no Filipino is left behind in the digital economy.

As the Philippines prepares to chair the ASEAN Summit next year, President Marcos vowed to build a more connected, competitive, and resilient regional economy.

The President also reiterated his invitation for APEC member economies to visit the Philippines during the hosting of the ASEAN Summit in 2026.
