OVP to adjust work schedules amid oil price hike

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) will adopt flexible work arrangements in line with Malacañang’s directive to strictly observe energy-saving measures amid tensions in the Middle East.

In an advisory released today, the OVP said it will implement a four-day onsite work schedule and one-day work-from-home (WFH) setup.

This means the office will be open from Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while employees will work from home every Friday.

The office also announced that only the Central Records Unit will remain open to receive documents.

It can be recalled that Bongbong Marcos earlier announced last month the implementation of a four-day workweek for offices under the Executive branch.
