A Dubai-based Ilongga vlogger known online as “Iloy Bugris: The Queen of Revelations” is set to face the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) over allegations of spreading false information regarding the health of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The vlogger, identified as Jinky Miraflores Avelino Carpio, was among the three vloggers earlier summoned by the NBI last month in connection with alleged online misinformation.
According to her lawyer, Atty. Kaiser Cordero, Carpio already received the subpoena issued by the NBI dated April 27.
She was instructed to appear on May 8, 2026 before the NBI Cybercrime Division in Pasay City or at its regional office in Iloilo City as part of the ongoing investigation.
Carpio’s camp said she would cooperate with authorities and attend the proceedings together with her legal counsel.
However, they also stated that she would exercise her legal rights during the investigation, including her right to remain silent.
Earlier, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) filed a complaint against Carpio for alleged violations of the Revised Penal Code and the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
Aside from accusations of spreading fake news about the President’s health, Carpio was also linked to alleged solicitations of money from viewers through online payment platforms.
The NBI has yet to release further details regarding the status of the investigation and possible charges that may be filed following the proceedings.
