Mother, daughter stabbed to death in Davao de Oro; baby survives brutal attack

A mother and her 12-year-old daughter were found stabbed to death inside their home in Pasilyanan, Barangay Katipunan, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro on November 27, while their 1-year-and-8-month-old child survived the attack.

The infant was discovered outside the house near the restroom area, covered in dirt and blood. Witnesses said the child may have ingested something harmful due to hunger and was immediately brought to a local health facility for treatment.

The victims, Janice Millanes, 32, and her daughter KC, 12, were found lying face down in their bedroom, both covered in blood. Scene investigators confirmed they suffered multiple stab wounds, and SOCO personnel said the attack likely occurred the night before.
