Meghan Markle is celebrating her daughter’s birthday in a big way — and this time, she’s letting fans in.
To mark Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday on June 4, the Duchess of Sussex shared a series of touching images and videos featuring the young royal. In a rare move, Meghan even offered a full glimpse of Lilibet’s face, something the public hasn’t seen since a 2022 photo shoot at Frogmore Cottage.
“Four years ago today she came into our lives, and each day is brighter and better because of it,” Meghan wrote to her 3.3 million Instagram followers, who were treated to a carefully curated digital scrapbook of family life.
Rare labor video shows Meghan dancing to induce birth
One standout moment in the post was a behind-the-scenes video of Meghan and Prince Harry dancing in a delivery room. The footage, which quickly went viral, showed the royal couple boogying in an attempt to induce labor.
Both Lilibet and older brother Archie, now 6, were born more than a week past their due dates, Meghan revealed. After walking, spicy food, and acupuncture failed to kickstart labor, dancing was their last resort.
The lighthearted video marks a shift in tone for the often-private couple, who have long battled public scrutiny over their choices to step back from royal duties and raise their family in California.
Lilibet may join Meghan’s business empire
The Duchess didn’t just reflect on the past — she looked to the future as well. In a bonus episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan revealed hopes that her daughter might one day go into business with her.
She said she imagines building something meaningful with Lilibet, a nod to her growing brand As Ever, which currently sells teas, preserves, and edible flower petals.
Fans are also buzzing about the second season of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, set to stream this fall. Whether Lilibet will appear on the show remains unclear, but the possibility seems more likely as Meghan becomes more comfortable sharing family moments with the public.
While the Sussexes remain fiercely protective of their children’s privacy, Meghan’s post marks a new chapter — one where her role as a mother, entrepreneur, and media personality continues to evolve.
As Princess Lilibet turns four, it’s clear she is already becoming a bright part of Meghan’s growing legacy.
