Mayor Baste Duterte has filed a complaint against Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, Justice Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty, and Prosecutor General Richard Anthony Fadullon.
The disbarment petition was filed by lawyer Atty. Israelito Torreon.
The complaint is related to the alleged “kidnapping” of his father for supposed delivery to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
According to the mayor’s camp, the Duterte family has decided to pursue a disbarment case against the said officials.
It can be recalled that Baste earlier filed criminal charges against the four Cabinet secretaries and several senior officials, accusing them of “kidnapping” his father for the ICC.
