LTO recommends license revocation for driver of Porsche linked to Derek Ramsay

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has recommended the revocation of the driver’s license of the person behind the wheel of an impounded Porsche 918 Spyder linked to actor Derek Ramsay.

According to the LTO, the supercar allegedly used an unauthorized license plate while traveling on a public road.

The agency had earlier issued a show-cause order against the registered owner and driver of the Porsche Spyder, whose plate reportedly bore the initials of the driver’s name.

LTO Chief Markus Lacanilao said the agency is taking a firm stance against the use of fake or unauthorized license plates to ensure that vehicles on public roads are properly and legally identified.

The release of the vehicle remains pending as the LTO awaits the disposition of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

The LTO also urged motorists to use only legal and authorized license plates and warned against similar violations.
