Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot two brothers in Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City, on Monday morning, September 29, killing one and injuring the other.
The victims, identified only by their aliases Harold and Harly, had just left an eatery near a call center company and were on their way home when the suspects followed them and opened fire.
Harold, who rode as back passenger, sustained a fatal gunshot wound and died on the spot. His brother Harly, who drove the motorcycle, suffered a gunshot wound in the back and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence to establish the motive and identify the attackers. Authorities continue to pursue the suspects to bring them to justice.
