Jennylyn Mercado admitted that she and her husband, Dennis Trillo, are “extra protective” of their children, which is why they are not yet ready to let their daughter Dylan enter show business.
During the media launch of her new album Jen Deluxe on August 20, Jennylyn shared that Dylan enjoys playing at home and is fond of wearing accessories.
Asked if she would allow her daughter to follow in her footsteps in show business, the actress said they would not allow it for now, describing the industry as “difficult and chaotic.”
Meanwhile, Dennis’ son, Calyx, has already expressed interest in entering show business.
However, the couple wants Calyx to finish college first before deciding on the career path he wants to pursue.
