A man caught his wife with another man inside a motel in C. Padilla, Brgy. Mambaling, Cebu City, on Thursday afternoon, February 20.
According to police reports, Alias Danny, 35, sought police assistance around 4 p.m. after allegedly following his wife and her suspected lover to the motel.
At 5 p.m., authorities knocked on the room’s door, which was opened by Alias Berto, 39, a resident of Minglanilla, Cebu. Inside, Danny’s wife, Alias Lyn-Lyn, 37, was seen sitting on the bed.
The trio was taken to the Mambaling Police Station for questioning.
In an interview with Brigada News FM Cebu, Lyn-Lyn claimed she and her husband had been separated for seven years and had only been on good terms since 2023 for the sake of their child.
She declined to provide further details.
