Sources close to the situation say Baldwin, 41, is “crying the blues” to Jenner, desperate for guidance on how to turn around the struggling TLC program, which follows her and husband Alec Baldwin, 66, as they juggle life with their seven young children.
Hilaria had high hopes when The Baldwins premiered on Feb. 23, believing their chaotic family life would attract viewers. However, the debut drew just 682,000 viewers. By the second episode on March 2, that number had dropped to 423,000.
Critics call it a “train wreck”
Reviews of the show have been overwhelmingly negative. One critic slammed it for being in “extremely poor taste,” especially considering Alec Baldwin’s recent acquittal in the high-profile trial regarding the accidental fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust in 2021.
Another reviewer described watching The Baldwins as “like being trapped on a vacation with someone else’s family and slowly realizing it was a mistake.”
According to an insider, the harsh words have deeply upset Hilaria. She’s reportedly glued to The Kardashians, admiring how Kris Jenner turned her family into a global empire, and now hopes Jenner can do the same for her.
