A former call center agent was found dead and partially unclothed in a grassy area at Hacienda Nilo Lizares, Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Carl Kimberlyn Degabi, a resident of Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City, was discovered Sunday morning by a concerned citizen. Her mother confirmed her identity through distinctive tattoos on her body and immediately coordinated with authorities.
PLTCOL Salvador M. Trono Jr., Chief of Police of the Talisay City Police Station, reported that Degabi was found lying face down without lower garments. Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine if sexual assault occurred.
One line of inquiry involves Degabi’s alleged connection to a scamming incident, though other motives have not been ruled out. The case remains under active investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to aid in resolving the case.
