Authorities said the victim was unable to pay at the time and promised to settle the amount the following week. The response reportedly angered the suspect, who then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.

The victim attempted to defend himself using a broken round bar, but still sustained wounds to different parts of his body, police said.

The injured man was immediately taken to a medical facility for treatment. Authorities said he is now in stable condition and no longer in danger.
