DSWD delivers ₱27M worth of aid to quake-hit residents in Davao

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to provide assistance to residents affected by the twin earthquakes that struck Manay, Davao Oriental.

A total of ₱27.3 million worth of aid has already been delivered to those affected.

In a press briefing by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council–Davao, DSWD-11 Assistant Director for Operations Merlinda Paragamac said the amount covers assistance for the victims.

According to Paragamac, the agency has also released ₱1.17 million in aid to affected families in four municipalities and 28 barangays in Davao de Oro.

DSWD assured the public that aid distribution will continue to affected families until they can safely return to their homes and communities have recovered.
