The family of businessman Anson Que, whose body was found in Rodriguez, Rizal alongside his driver, is appealing for justice as the investigation into his death continues.
Attorney Mei Go, legal counsel for the victim’s family, confirmed on Thursday that Que’s wife and child fully support the ongoing efforts of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to uncover the truth behind the killing.
Que’s body was recovered recently, sparking an emotional response from his relatives and community members. Details about the circumstances of his death have not yet been disclosed publicly.
In a related statement, Filipino-Chinese civic leader Teresita Ang See urged the public to stop sharing images of the victim’s body online. She emphasized the pain the grieving family is experiencing and said further circulation of the photos only adds to their suffering.
The case has drawn attention from both local authorities and the Filipino-Chinese community, with calls for justice and sensitivity growing louder across social media platforms.
As of this writing, the PNP has not released additional information regarding suspects or motives. The investigation remains ongoing.
