A daring daylight robbery at the Abjanine Business Center in Royal Valley, Bangkal, Davao City left two employees terrified and a suspect on the run.
At approximately 1:24 p.m. on November 22, 2024, a lone assailant, described as a large man around 5’7″ tall, stormed into the business center. Wearing a mix red-and-white motorcycle sweatshirt, dark pants, a brown belt bag, and a black half-face helmet, the unidentified man made his presence felt immediately.
The suspect allegedly kicked open the entrance door where employees Rachel and Kent were working. Wielding an undetermined handgun, he declared the robbery, sending the victims into a panic. Within moments, the man seized approximately PHP 30,000 in cash, a Lenovo tablet, an Acer Nitro 15 laptop, and a Michael Kors wristwatch before fleeing the scene.
Central 911 quickly relayed the report to the Talomo Police Station. Responding officers and intel operatives launched a hot pursuit operation, but the suspect remains at large. Investigations are ongoing.
Authorities urge witnesses to come forward with any information that could aid in identifying the bold criminal.
