Bella Padilla is keeping things private when it comes to her rumored falling-out with fellow actresses Kim Chiu and Angelica Panganiban.
During the media conference for her upcoming film Life After You on Wednesday, August 19, Bela was asked about the current status of her friendship with Kim and Angelica.
Her response was short and polite: “I won’t talk about it muna, thank you.”
Bela’s statement came amid long-standing speculations about a possible rift among the three actresses.
Rather than address the rumors, Bela shifted the conversation to her new film and her experience working with veteran actress Maricel Soriano.
Bela admitted she was going through a difficult and emotional period when she started filming Life After You.
But working with Maricel, whom she fondly calls “Inay,” helped her rediscover her love for acting.
Bela said Maricel reminded her that showbiz is not always “sunshine and rainbows,” but there is still a reason to love the craft and remain in the industry.
Life After You, a Viva Films production directed by Marla Ancheta, stars Bela Padilla and Maricel Soriano.
The film is set to premiere in cinemas nationwide on September 9, 2026.
