At least 27 killed after Fire engulfs beer hall in Thailand

At least 27 people were killed after a fire broke out at a beer hall in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aside from the fatalities, dozens of others were injured in the incident.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said investigators will examine the building’s ceiling materials and determine whether the availability and condition of emergency exits contributed to the victims’ inability to escape.

Meanwhile, several Buddhist monks have visited the site to offer prayers for those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
