Angelina Jolie’s children are ready to play matchmaker. Sources close to the actress reveal that her six kids—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox—are eager to see their mom move on and find love again.
After years of prioritizing her role as a single mother, Jolie, 49, is reportedly open to dating but wants her children’s approval before committing to anyone.
“Being a mom comes first for her, so she won’t even consider a relationship if her kids don’t approve,” a source shared. “They are the most important part of her life, and she values their opinions on everything, including who she dates.”
Jolie’s Children Want Her to Move On
Jolie, who ended her marriage with Brad Pitt in 2016, has since remained focused on raising her children. However, her kids now feel it’s time for her to put herself first and embrace the possibility of love again.
“Her children have been encouraging her to date for a while now,” the insider said. “The older they get, the more they realize how much she has sacrificed for them, and they don’t want her to be alone.”
While Jolie has occasionally been linked to high-profile names—including singer The Weeknd and her first husband, Jonny Lee Miller—her children reportedly want her to find something more meaningful.
“They’re not interested in casual flings,” the source added. “They want to see her happy and in a serious relationship with someone who truly cares about her.”
Could Jolie’s Kids Play Matchmaker?
Jolie’s social circle has expanded as her children become more involved in Hollywood and humanitarian work, increasing the chances of them introducing their mother to potential suitors.
“They’re mixing with some very elite circles now, and they have access to plenty of well-connected, eligible men,” the insider claimed. “Angelina has promised to keep an open mind and consider anyone they suggest.”
Rumors have recently linked Jolie to British rapper Akala, as well as comedian Chris Rock. However, sources close to the actress insist that she has not made any serious commitments.
“She’s focused on her family, but she also understands that her kids want the best for her,” the source noted. “If they find someone they think is a great match, she’s willing to give it a shot.”
For now, Jolie remains dedicated to her children, but if they have their way, the Maleficent star may not be single for much longer.
