LEGAZPI CITY – Ang Albay Biosphere Reserve Research & Development Center Building ay malapit nang bumangon sa Brgy. Cavit, Manito, Albay bilang groundbreaking ceremony noong Hulyo 6, 2022 kasama ang mga lokal na LGU at opisyal ng gobyerno.
Ang gusali ay magsisilbing rescue shelter at monitoring area para sa marine wildlife at biodiversity bilang pagsunod sa deklarasyon ng Albay Province bilang Man and Biosphere (MAB) Reserve ng UNESCO noong Marso 19, 2019.
