The Memphis Grizzlies continued their unbeaten run in the 2026-2027 NBA season after defeating the Portland Trail Blazers, 124-103, to improve their record to 5-0.
Memphis relied on its defensive intensity to contain Portland’s key players, particularly sharpshooter Damian Lillard, who struggled throughout the game.
Lillard converted just three of his 13 field-goal attempts, including only one three-pointer out of nine attempts. He finished with just nine points, two rebounds, and two assists.
On the other end, eight Grizzlies players scored in double figures, led by rookie forward Cameron Boozer, who delivered an impressive 18-point, 12-rebound, and 12-assist performance.
The triple-double marked the first of Boozer’s NBA career, as he also finished with a plus-20 rating.
Portland managed to keep the contest close in the first half, with both teams heading into the break tied.
However, Memphis pulled away in the third and fourth quarters to secure the 21-point victory.
With the win, the Grizzlies remain one of only two undefeated teams in the league, alongside the Houston Rockets, with both squads holding identical 5-0 records.
