Filipina tennis star Alex Eala is set to return to action at the WTA 1000 Wuhan Open today as she takes on China’s Han Shi in the Round of 64 at the Dongfeng Voyah Center Court.
Eala will look to bounce back against Shi following her defeat to fellow Chinese player Wang Xiyu at the 20th Asian Games.
The Filipina ace is also aiming for a deeper run in Wuhan after suffering first-round exits in her previous two appearances at the tournament.
Eala will be eager to make her mark this time around as she looks to build momentum against a familiar home-court challenge.
