15 injured, over 300 houses damaged after tornado hits Southern France

Fifteen people were injured after a tornado swept through Aude in southern France on Monday night.

More than 300 homes were damaged by the strong winds, with windows shattered in several houses in the village of Verzeille.

The tornado struck as an intense heatwave in southern France gave way to thunderstorms in several parts of the region.
