Parara NHS adopts transparent bags to strengthen Campus Security

Parara National High School in Tigbauan, Iloilo has begun implementing the use of transparent bags among students as part of its strengthened security measures.

The policy took effect this month following an agreement between the school management and parents, aimed at improving safety and security within the school premises.

Under the new measure, students are required to use transparent bags, allowing security personnel and school staff to easily check their belongings before they enter the campus.

Bag inspections are conducted at the school gate as part of the school’s efforts to prevent prohibited or potentially dangerous items from being brought inside.

School officials say the use of transparent bags also helps make the inspection process quicker and more efficient, as the contents can be immediately seen without having to open and thoroughly search each bag.

The measure comes amid concerns over reported incidents of violence in several schools across the country, prompting educational institutions to strengthen their security protocols.

Through the policy, Parara National High School hopes to provide a safer learning environment for students, teachers, and other school personnel.
