Vice President Sara Duterte and Sen. Bong Go emerged as the leading choices for president and vice president, respectively, in Pulse Asia’s latest survey on the 2028 national elections.
The results came from the Pulse Asia “Ulat ng Bayan” survey conducted from June 28 to July 6, 2026, involving 2,400 Filipino respondents aged 18 and above through face-to-face interviews nationwide.
The survey found that 49% of respondents said they would vote for Duterte for president if the election were held today.
Duterte led all hypothetical presidential matchups included in the survey. Former Vice President Leni Robredo ranked second with 26%, followed by Sen. Raffy Tulfo with 14%.
In the vice presidential race, Go topped the list with 27% voter preference.
Sen. Robin Padilla placed second with 21%, while Sen. Bam Aquino and former Sen. Grace Poe were tied for third with 14% each.
The survey also measured voter preference for the Senate.
Padilla led the senatorial rankings with 48.4%, followed closely by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto with 47.9%. Tulfo ranked third with 43.9%.
Pulse Asia said the survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with a nationally representative sample of 2,400 registered Filipino adults.
The polling organization reported a margin of error of ±2% at the national level.
The survey presents voter preferences based on hypothetical election scenarios and reflects the views of respondents during the survey period. It does not predict the outcome of the 2028 national elections.
